 Environmental Health Practitioners work to protect the public from environmental hazards by ensuring food, air, water

and soil is safe for public use, monitor and recommend solutions to reduce pollution and management of waste,

improve housing conditions, safeguard standards of workplace health and safety, and create a better environment for all.

This course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to identify, assess, evaluate and control various environmental hazards.

You will take a range of courses covering aspects of environmental health law, risk assessment, public health,

environmental health management and entrepreneurship. This programme has been accredited 

by The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) since 2012.  



Career Opportunities

 Graduates of this diploma are able to find work as Assistant Environmental Health Officer in Local Authorities and Government Ministries,

as well as Environmental Health Practitioners in private industries including manufacturing, tourism, transport, food services,

waste management, pest control and construction.
